2) I’m involved in a project that consists in a clustar swap. We have an VW EOS 2008 with a micronas dash and we want to swap the clustert with a VW EOS 2010 NEC dash (I’m not sure if NEC24C64 or NEC24C32).

Although the wiring is different we were able to connect the new cluster, and it seems to work OK

Problems start with the immo ….. We think that if we had the PINCODE/SKC from both clusters we would be able to match the new cluster with the ECU (and we would be able to match the keys). So I’d like to know if the software VAG KM+IMMO is able to get the PIN CODE of this cluster.

I know your ad says it car read/write the EEPROM, it can correct the mileage, but is it able to help me in any way???

Answer: Please note that VAG KM+IMMO can read PIN CODE. If your car’s dash type is NEC24C32, you can directly use VAG KM+IMMO tool; if it is NEX24C64, you have to buy one “NEC24C64 Update Module for  VAG KM + IMMO TOOL” to use with VAG KM + IMMO TOOL.

Q: What is the application car model of the trip computer V-CHECKER A302 and V-CHECKER A303?
A: V-CHECKER A302/A303 is for the VAG, Skoda, Audi models. For example, the model V-CHECKER A302 support: Sagitar, Touran, Audi, Golf, Octavia, Magotan, Scirocco, Caddy. A303 Supported models: Polo, Golf, Passat, Bora and more.
Q: Why the driving speed displayed on the computer is lower than the car dashboard displays?
A: Almost all of the car speed displayed on the meter is not accurate, mainly at the security depot, design, 2-5% higher than the actual speed, that is someone on the freeway 140Km / h, says has not been photographed speeding, in fact, the real speed at this time is 120Km / h.
Q: Why is getting slower and slower speed but the instantaneous fuel consumption per hundred kilometers are getting higher and higher?

Q: Why setted the reminder function of shift, when the speed reaches a setted value, trip computer do not remind.
A: The shift to remind does not work under the cruise mode, only in the competitive mode will remind you.
Q: Where is the car’s OBD diagnostic interface.
A: The location of the diagnostic interface principles: take the driver as the center, radius of 0.5 meters, the driver’s reach out and touch range. The specific location of OBD diagnostic interface, there is no uniform standard. Usually under the steering wheel, at the top of brake pedal. If you still can not find the diagnostic interface, please contact your local 4S shop of the model.
Q: How to set fuel consumption factor?
A: The fuel factor is used to adjust the “instantaneous fuel consumption, the current default: 331, the coefficient is based on a complex formula and experience in numerous tests of the car. Does not advise clients to change. If the vehicle was modified or age of the vehicle too old, causing the vehicle sensor aging, drift. Customers can adjust according to their proportion of the actual situation of the vehicle. Q: The outside temperature has been shown as 0. .
A: Some models (such as some of the old section Passet 2.0 model) is not configured outside temperature sensor, trip computer can not read.
Q: How do I change car settings? How to restore factory settings?
A: First tune out the hidden menu, and in the hidden menu, select [Select Model] or [Restore Factory Settings]. Bring up hidden menus. Method One: Unplug the OBD connector -> while holding down the [previous] [next] [OK] three keys -> plug in the OBD connector> display the first image -> release the button.Quickly followed by [next] [next] [last] [OK] [C] Method Two: (V3.24 or higher version) Unplug the OBD connector -> plug in the OBD connetor – “Show the first image -> quickly press the [OK]
Q:Why my car is equipped with reverse radar but do not show reverse picture.
A:A303 without reversing radar display. V-CHECKER A302 with reversing radar screen, but only support part of the original reversing radar. If the display screen did not show reversing, you’d better closed the reverse radar function in [instrument settings].

a) Today I made a Variant/ Passat 2008 with Super VAG K+CAN Plus 2.0, took 5 seconds, went into the tools menu, auto detect, KM showed the old, entered the new OK! Worked perfect.

 b) Q: I tried one yesterday to use super VAG K+CAN plus 2.0 to work JETTA 2010, 5M0920870A panel, I could not do! Then I saw that this is a 512 9s12, anyone had experience with this type of panel?
A: I received a response from the vendor that the SVAG PLUS is not able to work 5m092870A the panel, only with VAG IMMO KM! it’s a shame!

c) Today I did a 2003 Audi A3 dashboard Magneti Marelli M73, worked perfect! Menu path: tools, auto detect K line wait until pinpoint the panel, presented the old mileage insert the new, it takes about 3 minutes and voila! Job done!

d) Today I made a Bosch Audi A4 2006 with super VAG K+CAN plus 2.0, choose from the menu RBX 00-08 A4 (k) expect to see the old km, new km write and wait for 2-4min, the magic was made ready!

Last question leave for my reader that goes as follows:
“I tried to use Super VAG K+CAN Plus 2.0 to do a VW Passat 2007 I went into instrument, then auto detect can, it read the old mileage then when I typed the new mileage it just come up as[b] update failed[/b]??? Anyone have any ideas”

1. Preparation for Testing
Memoscan VAG5053 aids in monitoring electronic and emissions-related faults in your vehicle and retrieving fault codes related to malfunctions in these systems. Mechanical problems such as low oil level or damaged hoses,wiring or electrical connectors can cause poor engine performance and may also cause a “false” fault code. Fix any known mechanical problems before performing any test. See your vehicle’s service manual or a mechanic for more information.
Check the following areas before starting any test:
1) Check the engine oil, power steering fluid, transmission fluid (if applicable), engine coolant and other fluids for proper levels. Top off low fluid levels if needed.Make sure the air filter is clean and in good condition. Make sure all air filter ducts are properly connected. Check the air filter ducts for holes, rips or cracks.
2) Make sure all engine belts are in good condition. Check for cracked, torn, brittle, loose or missing belts.
3) Make sure mechanical linkages to engine sensors (throttle,gearshift position, transmission, etc.) are secure and properly connected. See your vehicle’s service manual for locations.Check all rubber hoses (radiator) and steel hoses (vacuum/fuel) for leaks, cracks, blockage or other damage. Make sure all hoses are routed and connected properly.
4)  Make sure all spark plugs are clean and in good condition. Check for damaged, loose, disconnected or missing spark plug wires.
5) Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Check for corrosion or broken connections. Check for proper battery and charging system voltages.
6)  Check all electrical wiring and harnesses for proper connection. Make sure wire insulation is in good condition, and there are no bare wires.
7) Make sure the engine is mechanically sound. If needed, perform a compression check, engine vacuum check, timing check (if applicable), etc.

2. Connect the VAG5053
2.1 Turn the ignition off.
2.2 Locate the vehicle’s 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).
2.3 Connect the VAG5053 cable connector to the vehicle’s DLC. Turn
on the ignition, Press [power button], The VAG5053 will auto start,
the following screen will be displayed.

2.4 Wait a moment, the screen will auto display the main menu:

[Diagnosis system]: enter the control module selection menu.
 [Contrast]: adjust the contrast.

 I’m interest to find an ecu re flashing software for euro car like list at above and vag diagnostic scan tools . my question is :

2) If can do re flash Is that the horse power can be increase ? After re flashing?

A: What you need is ECU reflashing software, not super VAG K+CAN 4.8. Usually, I will recommend you KWP2000 Plus and Galetto 1260, but before I confirm weather any one of the two tools can work with your cars, we have to know what is your vehicles’ ECU type, because to use KWP2000 Plus and Galetto 1260 is according to users’ vehicles ECU type.

As for anti-theft code, it is used to make keys.

But KWP2000 Plus and Galetto 1260 do not increase horse power, KWP2000 Plus and Galetto 1260 is only programming tool, what they do is to read out the program from ecu, after reading out the ecu program, the users can do modification or ask ecu engineer from Germany to help modify, then to use KWP2000 Plus and Galetto 1260 to read the modified program into ecu.

Then what tool can be used to increase horse power for VW/Audi, it is Power RevoFlash 3 from uobd2.com, in the software, it contains well-done ecu program, after the user find out the related car model, then write the program into the ecu, that’s ok now.
